Photos from the Honeymoon

Finally! Right? I'm sure someone has been waiting for these. As you can imagine things have been in a state of constant motion here, but it's time to take a break from all that and show you a bit of what we were up to on the honeymoon.

Before that, we would like to express again the deep thanks we give to our families for providing such a wonderful start to our lives together. To everyone, thank you for traveling and spending your holiday weekend with us, it sounds like everyone enjoyed it. You gave us memories that will last and the promise of more to come!

We got around in our Jeep Rocsta - or ROC-STAR! or RASTA! - as we affectionately refered to it.

This spot was just sweet! It's off the beaten path and not on any map (at least not any map we had).

We also went on an ATV tour. It was pretty fun. I would have liked to tear it up a bit more, but the tour's pace probably kept me from breaking myself.

We also got a great view of the island...


Our final stop was at the natural pool which was really awesome.


Don't see a picture? It was a pool! I left my camera behind. (I wish I could say the same for the rest of the goods in my pockets!)

Another day going off-road we found some caves. They're great, shade is a very limited commodity.

This cave was in-land and was named after a native king who threw his daughter and (in his opinion) her unfit husband in there to die after they married against his wishes. Nice. A perfect place to visit on your honeymoon. Seriously though, it was pretty cool.



We also spent some time above ground and did a little bouldering up some rocky hills.

Balashi on the Beach. The Hidden Valley cooler was clutch (AKA very necessary, timely, and good to have)!


Finding our own beaches on the undeveloped side of the island (the east side) was a fun hobby.
